These terms explain how online repair requests work and what happens before repair work is agreed. The contracting repair provider will be identified in your written quote or confirmation.
1. Who provides the repair?
The booking website and request intake are operated by UBBISOFT LTD (company number 13745546), trading as Phone Shop Bristol / Fone Revive, registered office 5 Union Street, Bristol BS1 2DD. The repair may be provided by the selected Bristol branch or its operating business. If a different legal business will carry out the repair, its name and contact details will be stated in the quote or confirmation before you accept the repair.
2. A request is not a confirmed appointment
Submitting the form sends a request only. It does not reserve a time, guarantee that a part is available, create a repair contract, or confirm a final price. Your preferred date and time are requests until the relevant store confirms them. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to parts, staffing and workload.
3. Quote and approval
Price depends on the exact model, fault, part choice, diagnosis and any additional damage found. We will explain the proposed work, part type, price, expected turnaround and any relevant warranty terms before you approve. No repair work starts until you expressly approve the final quote. If diagnosis reveals a different issue or added cost, we will contact you first and wait for approval.
No online payment is taken when you submit a booking request. Any inspection, diagnostic or cancellation charge will only apply if it has been explained to you and agreed before it is incurred.
4. Device and data preparation
Back up important information before repair where possible. Hardware faults, liquid damage and some repairs can result in data loss; we cannot guarantee that data will remain intact. Remove SIM and memory cards where relevant. Do not share account passwords, passcodes, banking details or one-time security codes in the form. If access is genuinely needed for testing, ask the technician why and agree a safe method.
5. Parts and availability
Original / genuine parts, aftermarket soft OLED displays, compatible budget-class LCD displays and battery options vary by model. A booking preference is not a guarantee of stock or compatibility. The exact part offered and any feature limitation will be stated before you approve the repair. Manufacturer names are used only to identify compatible devices.
6. Cancellation rights
You may withdraw a booking request before a repair contract is formed. If a service contract is agreed at a distance, any statutory cancellation rights that apply will be explained. If you ask us to start a service during a statutory cancellation period, we will obtain your express request and explain any legal consequences before the work begins. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Warranty and statutory rights
Any voluntary repair warranty is the one described on your quote or receipt. It does not replace your statutory rights. The repair provider will explain the process for reporting a suspected fault and may need to inspect the device.
8. Contact
For questions about a request, contact bristol.fonerevive@gmail.com or 07377 771745. Store contact information is on the locations page.
